20 years in the beauty industry

I started my career in the beauty industry in 1998 as a Cosmetology student. I remember arguing with my teachers because I never wanted to do anything they told me. I was like a 5 year old that constantly asked "why?" but "why can't I cut evereyones hair with a razor?" I knew then that I was always going to be one of the first artists to know what the next "big thing" would be. I took every cut, color, straightening,makeup, and hair extension course I could. I vowed to put everything I could into my education and I did. In 2015 I came across Microblading  became obsessed with eyebrows and immediately signed up for a Permanent Makeup course. After 6 months in Microblading I was no longer able to do hair because I was so busy. In 2017 Vamp Ink was born! I opened my shop started training other artists. Now in 2019 I have added to my list of licenses and am proud to be a Fibroblast plasma skin tightening technician. I want to help all women and men feel confident and I will continue to educate myself so that I can be the artist they trust with all of their beauty needs.
